Several Red Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Malachi Kuti George, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Kuti George a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Imileo Martinez, who posted 15 points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Walden Grove smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
Cisco Llamas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sahuaro, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 steals. Llamas has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times he's played. Isaac Teasley was another key player, putting up 11 points.
