The Aucilla Christian Warriors will square off against the Godby Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Aucilla Christian made easy work of Brooks County and carried off a 13-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Cooper Wiles made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Wiles was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other pitching news, Josh Agner looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Aucilla Christian is 6-1 when Agner allows three or fewer hits, but 6-7 otherwise.
Back at the plate, Collin Campbell was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has become a key player for Aucilla Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaw Lundy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, while Godby put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Gadsden County. The Cougars put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 26-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won five in a row.
Aucilla Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Godby, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
