After a string of 11 wins, the Legend Titans's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 52-42 to Cherokee Trail. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Legend has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Legend still got an impressive performance from Katie Lamb, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Cook, who scored five points along with three blocks.
Legend's loss dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Cherokee Trail, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Legend will head out on the road to face off against ThunderRidge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. ThunderRidge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Legend is ranked second). As for Cherokee Trail, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grandview at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th.
