Meanwhile, Norwood-Norfolk's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Franklin Academy 71-27. Norwood-Norfolk was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.
Gouverneur bumped their record down to 2-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Norwood-Norfolk, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
