Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Raine Rumble, who scored 16 points. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Brodie Burns was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Norwood-Norfolk's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Franklin Academy 71-27. Norwood-Norfolk was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.
Gouverneur bumped their record down to 2-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Norwood-Norfolk, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
