The Shenandoah Zeps will head out on the road to face off against the Caldwell Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenandoah will be strutting in after a win while Caldwell will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Shenandoah strolled past Frontier with points to spare, taking the game 71-52. The win was just what Shenandoah needed coming off of a 70-49 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Caldwell had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 69-38 loss at the hands of Fort Frye on Tuesday.
Despite the defeat, Caldwell had strong showings from Carter Wheeldin, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals, and Dylan Schott, who scored 13 points.
The victory got Shenandoah back to even at 1-1. As for Caldwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Shenandoah came up short against Caldwell when the teams last played back in January, falling 60-52. Thankfully for Shenandoah, Bede Lori (who scored 28 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
