The Provo Bulldogs only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 30-point they dealt the Mountain View Bruins on Tuesday. Provo took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 67-37 win over Mountain View. That looming 67-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Provo yet this season.
It was another big night for Jason Carter, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trey Johnson, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Simeon Suguturaga and Joshua Hair certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Suguturaga scored 14 points, while Hair scored five points.
Provo's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Mountain View, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
Provo will head out on the road to face off against Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Timpanogos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Uintah at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Uintah focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Friday.
