Franklin entered their tilt with Rockdale on Friday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They blew past the Tigers 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Franklin pushed their record up to 19-3-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rockdale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will host Anderson-Shiro at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.2, the Fighting Owls 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Rockdale, they will welcome Thrall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
