Baseball Game Preview: River Ridge Hawks vs. Lakes Lancers

For the second straight game, River Ridge will face off against Lakes. River Ridge will challenge Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

River Ridge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lakes, but they still couldn't quite topple them. River Ridge was the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over Lakes on Monday. Considering the Hawks have won three matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Lakes' part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Kennedy, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Those stolen bases marked the first that Kennedy snagged this season.

The win made it two in a row for River Ridge and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Lakes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
