The Fairfield Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 66-56 to Lehigh Valley Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Lehigh Valley Academy was led to victory by Christopher Hunt and Joell McNeil. Hunt scored 20 points, while McNeil scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McNeil has scored all season. Gavin Varner was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will take on York County Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. York County Tech is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Salem Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
