Inderkum has gone a perfect 6-0 against McClatchy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will host the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Inderkum is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
On Wednesday, Inderkum got the win against Rio Americano by a conclusive 11-4. Considering the Tigers have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Brielle Collins was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Ambrosia Estacio, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Inderkum kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rio Americano only managed five.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when McClatchy challenged Kennedy on Thursday. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cougars, sneaking past 4-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Jayeliza Rogers was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jaydilyn Rogers, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
McClatchy's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Inderkum, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Inderkum has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. However, it's not like McClatchy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Inderkum's way against McClatchy in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, as Inderkum made off with an 8-2 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
