They had to suffer through a 38-10 loss at the hands of the Trinity Leadership Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-11 on January 3rd.
Trinity Leadership can attribute much of their success to Vivienne Carroll, who posted 16 points. The dominant performance gave Carroll a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Emani Taylor, who scored nine points.
A Plus Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Trinity Leadership, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A Plus Academy will head out to take on Young Women's Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
