Rabun County had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. Everything went their way against the Athens Academy Spartans as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Rabun County's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Athens Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Rabun County will head out to square off against Oglethorpe County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Athens Academy, they will host Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
