Basketball Recap: Cumberland Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Cumberland posted their biggest win since February 14th on Monday. They put the hurt on the Oakcrest Falcons with a sharp 38-12 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Cumberland's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Oakcrest, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Cumberland will head out to challenge Deptford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Deptford's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Cumberland's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Oakcrest, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Oakcrest Falcons challenge the Winslow Township Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
