Las Plumas played a tough  matchup  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against  the Orland Trojans, falling  35-12. The  contest marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
 Although Las Plumas took the loss, they still got scores from  Prem Ball and  Kaden Parris.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Orland to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Manny Martin, who rushed for 167 yards and one  score on only ten carries, and also picked up 56 receiving yards. Those  167  rushing yards gave  Martin a new career-high.  Luke Schager also helped out as he racked up 131 rushing yards.
Las Plumas' loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Orland, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-2.
 Las Plumas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  42-33  win against Corning on the 24th. As for Orland, they have also already played their next contest,  a  56-6  victory against Oroville on the 24th.
