Emily August-Faith King turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Thursday. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Kenston Forest back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

King and Brunswick Academy will challenge Greenbrier Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Gators thanks in part to King: she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits (and not a single walk).
