ROWVA/Williamsfield and Tremont squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but ROWVA/Williamsfield had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Turks. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Sawyer Secrist paced ROWVA/Williamsfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Secrist got some help from Tori Trotter and her 11 assists. Trotter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 32-7. As for Tremont, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-17.

ROWVA/Williamsfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tremont, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Orion on the 6th.
