The Westminster Academy Lions had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Chaminade-Madonna with a sharp 81-60 win on Thursday. The win was nothing new for Westminster Academy as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Westminster Academy was led to victory by Alex Constanza and Alexander Lloyd. Constanza dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds, while Lloyd scored 30 points along with three steals. Lloyd is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Police, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Westminster Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Chaminade-Madonna, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
Westminster Academy will face off against Miami Country Day at TBD on Saturday. Westminster Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,860 points over their last 25 matchups. Chaminade-Madonna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
