The Tri-County Cavaliers will head out to face off against the Faith Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. On Saturday, Tri-County got the win against Clinton Central by a conclusive 12-5. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Grace Luck made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). In other batting news, Tri-County let Kami Wilkerson and Bella Dominguez run wild. Wilkerson went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Dominguez went 2-for-5 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits Wilkerson has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madilyn Nevitt, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double.

Tri-County pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Faith Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.
Faith Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Tri-County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .402. Tri-County took their win against Faith Christian in their previous meeting on May 3rd by a conclusive 18-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
