Station Camp has gone 9-1 against Portland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Station Camp Bison will be playing in front of their home fans against the Portland Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Station Camp knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Portland likes a good challenge.
Last Wednesday, Station Camp beat Gallatin 60-52.

Station Camp's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jp Strong, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 25 points. Those 25 points gave Strong a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ty Thurston, who went 6 of 11 en route to 17 points and six assists.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Portland faced off against Greenbrier on Tuesday. Portland took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenbrier. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats 23-18 in the first quarter.
Station Camp will need focus on slowing down Keilen Dalton, one of several Portland players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Brown, who posted 14 points.
Even though they lost, Portland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
Portland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Station Camp, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5.
Keep an eye on the arc in Friday's match: Station Camp has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 37.2% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Portland, though, as they've only made 28.3% of their threes this season. Given Station Camp's sizable advantage in that area, Portland will need to find a way to close that gap.
Station Camp strolled past Portland in their previous meeting on January 14th by a score of 63-44. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Dalton, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Station Camp still be able to contain Dalton? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
