After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brusly, Plaquemine was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Port Allen Pelicans as they made off with a 14-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Green Devils, who have now won ten contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Plaquemine's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Port Allen, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Plaquemine will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Port Allen, they will challenge Tara at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.55 runs per game on average), something the Pelicans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
