The Temple Christian Academy Warriors had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.1 points), and they went ahead and made it 14 on Monday. They secured a 64-58 W over Oakwood Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jeramy Trangmar, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 13 times he's played. Luke Passetti was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Temple Christian Academy pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Oakwood Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temple Christian Academy will challenge New Covenant School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakwood Christian on the road again on Friday and play against Bob Jones Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
