The Keyser Golden Tornado's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Allegany. Keyser was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Campers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Keyser still got an impressive performance from Patrick Liller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Liller hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Ack, who scored four points.
Keyser has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Allegany, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keyser will take on the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Southern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Tuesday. As for Allegany, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m.
