The King's Academy Knights will take on the Aragon Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Academy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
King's Academy took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Valley Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Warriors on Monday.

Katia Nesper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Mia Bennette was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April.
Meanwhile, Aragon didn't have quite enough to beat Hillsdale on Friday and fell 2-1. The Dons haven't had much luck with the Fighting Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Aragon also let their pitcher toss all nine innings and she was also dialed-in: Makayla Hafoka gave up only one earned run on eight hits.
At the plate, Aragon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Workman, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.
King's Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Aragon, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.
Aragon's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. King's Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Aragon, though, as they've been averaging only 3.1 strikeouts. Will King's Academy keep running through batters, or will the Dons buck the trend?
King's Academy might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Aragon in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Knights have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
