The Hug Hawks will be playing at home against the Truckee Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hug has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Hug scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 79-45 win over Sparks. With Hug ahead 44-21 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hug to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amari Davis, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. Rayshawn Elisher was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Truckee, who are still winless after their 14th game. They fell to Sparks 68-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Hug's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Truckee, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-14.
