The West Babylon Eagles came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 49-37 victory over Smithtown West. 49 seems to be a good number for West Babylon as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jade Dockery continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of West Babylon's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelynn Burgess, who scored eight points.
West Babylon pushed their record up to 4-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Smithtown West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
West Babylon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Smithtown West also has no future games currently scheduled.
