Even though the Bryan Vikings scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, the Chaparral Bobcats still came out on top. Chaparral walked away with a 70-58 victory over Bryan.
Chaparral's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Smith, who scored 17 points. Brad Miles was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Bryan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaparral is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Ellison at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. One thing working in Ellison's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. As for Bryan, they will head out on the road to face off against Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
