Canterbury's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kayden Calhoun, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds. Calhoun scored a full 51.6% of Canterbury's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lou Donnelly, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
Shorecrest Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Canterbury, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shorecrest Prep will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northside Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Canterbury, they will be playing at home against Indian Rocks Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
