Jordan Hanna and Keaton Jones provided fans with a highlight when they connected against North Union. The connection went for 82 yards, the longest such play in 1A District 1 this season.
Emmetsburg extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Gehlen Catholic, 47-14. The win marks seventh in a row for the the E'Hawks.
Okoboji's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pioneers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hanna has thrown for 888 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Jones has 18 catches for 340 yards. Gabe Goehring leads the league in rushing with 193 yards.
