The Palm Valley FIREBIRDS can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 66-4 win over Noli Indian. With Palm Valley ahead 36-4 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Alex Ratner was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 20 rebounds. Ratner is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Matteo Lam, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and three steals.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Palm Valley, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. As for Noli Indian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Valley will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Desert Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Noli Indian, they will face off against Weaver at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Weaver is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
