The Gilmour Academy Lancers will be playing at home against the Copley Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Gilmour Academy beat Magnificat 51-46.
Meanwhile, Copley can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent contest last Saturday. They breezed by Tallmadge on the road to the tune of 67-28. Winning may never get old, but Copley sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
It was another big night for Izzy Callaway, who scored 23 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Copley's points. Zoey Van voorhis was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Gilmour Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Copley, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Gilmour Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Copley in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, sneaking past 54-51. Will Gilmour Academy repeat their success, or does Copley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
