Mt. Diablo moved up to 829 from 886 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Diablo Valley. The Red Devils were able to make move up by topping Fremont 30-21.
Clayton Valley Charter was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, the Eagles defeated Castlemont 66-6.
Concord's MITCH DANIELS and MASON KNIGHT have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback DANIELS has thrown for 391 yards this season, while KNIGHT has 18 catches for 200 yards. Miles Harrison from Clayton Valley Charter leads the league in rushing with 176 yards.
Tim Murphy's team took down the Knights 66-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
