It was a good run, but Reese unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Reese's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reese will take on Ubly in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Millington at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
