The Cambridge N/A can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They snuck past Whitehall with a 31-25 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cambridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samantha Crandall, who scored 11 points along with six steals. Crandall has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Day, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and five steals.
Cambridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Whitehall, they bumped their record down to 3-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cambridge will face off against Saratoga Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Whitehall will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Granville at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th.
