The Kern Valley Broncs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Boron with a sharp 68-48 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Kern Valley as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Kern Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zack Wargo, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wargo has scored all season. Malakai Prock was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Kern Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Boron, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rosamond the next time they take the court. Boron will host Rosamond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Kern Valley will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
