The Laurel Highlands Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 12th straight loss. They took a hard 55-38 fall against Norwin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Laurel Highlands has scored all season.
Laurel Highlands lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ethan Koffler, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Black, who scored 12 points.
Laurel Highlands dropped their record down to 2-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Norwin, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
Laurel Highlands will be playing at home against Elizabeth Forward at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elizabeth Forward presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Laurel Highlands in Pennsylvania (Elizabeth Forward is ranked 202nd, while Laurel Highlands is ranked 543rd). As for Norwin, they will head out on the road to face off against Canon-McMillan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
