North Pocono is 8-2 against Delaware Valley since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will welcome the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. North Pocono will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
North Pocono barely beat Scranton Prep the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 13-3 win on Sunday. While the Trojans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

North Pocono let Jake Reese and Connor Ruddy run wild. Reese went 2-for-4 with six RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Ruddy scored four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those six RBI gave Reese a new career-high. Dylan Hunter was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
North Pocono always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Scranton Prep only posted an OBP of .308.
Meanwhile, Delaware Valley suffered their closest defeat since May 8, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Scranton by a score of 8-6. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Knights since on Wednesday.
Liam Onofry was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Jorgenson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
North Pocono pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Delaware Valley, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Pocono has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Delaware Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
North Pocono beat Delaware Valley 6-3 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
