The Viewmont Vikings will challenge the Olympus Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Viewmont will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Viewmont barely beat Alta the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Hawks on Thursday. Considering the Vikings have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

London Dickerson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Olivia McGarvey, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Raegyn Dahlke was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Olympus had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Jordan 6-4.
Like Viewmont, Olympus also got a great game from a two-way player: Jaedin Mugleston. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. Mugleston was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Sydney Birkeland was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Mya Palcher also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.
The win got Olympus back to even at 5-5. As for Viewmont, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Olympus' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Viewmont has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Olympus, though, as they've been averaging only 3.4 strikeouts. Will Viewmont keep running through batters, or will the Titans buck the trend?
Viewmont couldn't quite get it done against Olympus when the teams last played back in May of 2025 as they fell 10-5. Will the Vikings have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
