There's no place like home for Bartow, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Lake Wales Highlanders 85-48 on Friday. The Yellow Jackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 24 points or more this season.

Bartow found their leader in sophomore Messiah Borders, who went 9 of 19 en route to 23 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Dylan Brinson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

Bartow smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Wales lost, don't look at Bradley Auguste. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most points Auguste has posted since back in December of 2024.

Bartow pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Lake Wales, their record is now 9-11.

Bartow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-44 victory against Avon Park on the 28th. Lake Wales has also already played their next match, a 62-56 win against Ocoee on the 27th.
