Tilton School strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Proctor Academy Hornets as they made off with a 12-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Alexa Gillis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Gillis was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Zoe Twarog was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Gailine Paquin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Tilton School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits every time they've taken the field this season.
