The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 11th straight loss. They fell 40-31 to Fromberg. If Reed Point/Rapelje hoped to take revenge for the 56-52 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Despite the defeat, Reed Point/Rapelje saw an underclassman step up: Landen Bryant scored ten points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bryant has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Axel Blodgett, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds.
Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fromberg, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reed Point/Rapelje will take on Bridger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bridger is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for Fromberg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Absarokee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
