Altoona is 1-6 against State College since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Altoona Mountain Lions are on the road again and play against the State College Little Lions at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Altoona will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 139th, while State College is ranked 40th).
Last Friday, Altoona strolled past Mifflin County with points to spare, taking the game 26-8.
Bron Mosley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 127 yards and four touchdowns.
Meanwhile, State College beat Chambersburg 21-14 two weeks ago.
Their wins bumped Altoona to 5-6 and State College to 6-3.
Altoona was dealt a bruising 49-7 loss at the hands of State College when the teams last played back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of State College's Eddie Corkery, who threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Now that Altoona knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
