The win made it two in a row for Tuscaloosa Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Bessemer City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
