Bartow is 8-2 against Kathleen since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. In what's become a running theme this season, Bartow gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 68-40 win over Lake Gibson on the road. The win was just what Bartow needed coming off of a 80-56 defeat in their prior contest.
Bartow got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Edward Wiggins out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wiggins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rickjerlin Senior feliz, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, Kathleen came up short against Ridge Community on Wednesday and fell 67-55.
Bartow's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Kathleen, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Bartow strolled past Kathleen when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 64-50. Does Bartow have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kathleen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
