Last Saturday, Wilmington strolled past the Fighting Owls with points to spare, taking the game 62-47. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for Wilmington this season.
Meanwhile, Goshen stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 83-59 margin over Batavia. The score was close at the half, but Goshen pulled away in the second half with 43 points.
It was another big night for Caden Zeinner, who scored 35 points along with seven assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 11 games he's played. Luke Ball was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Wilmington's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Goshen, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
