The Bellville Brahmas will head out on the road to take on the Needville Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1024th, while the Bluejays are ranked 319th).
Bellville's game on Friday was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Navasota.
Meanwhile, Needville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 57-36 margin over Sealy.
Bohdan Zeitz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarkus Jack, who scored seven points along with seven steals.
Bellville's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Needville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.
Bellville came up short against the Bluejays in their previous meeting back in January, falling 47-37. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Zeitz, who scored 20 points.
