Episcopal barely beat St. Pius X the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Episcopal Knights' way against the St. Pius X Panthers on Tuesday as the Episcopal Knights made off with a 12-5 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Episcopal pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for St. Pius X, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Episcopal will welcome Fort Bend Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Pius X, a feisty cat fight will be fought as St. Pius X Panthers challenge St. John XXIII Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give St. John XXIII their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
