On Saturday, Freeport took their game at home with ease, bagging a 62-30 victory over Lawrence.
Leading Freeport to victory were Jayden Gordon and Latrell Tucker. Gordon scored 11 points along with six steals, while Tucker scored 13 points along with three steals. Gordon is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Ethan Richardson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Freeport now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lawrence, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Freeport will head out on the road to face off against Uniondale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lawrence, they will be playing at home against Valley Stream South at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
