The Amelia County Raiders can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They put the hurt on Lunenburg Central with a sharp 82-57 win. The victory was nothing new for Amelia County as they're now sitting on six straight.
Leading Amelia County to victory were JAIDEN SQUIRE and JUSTIN PERRY. SQUIRE scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while PERRY shot 4-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. PERRY is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of ANAIS KING, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Amelia County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Lunenburg Central, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Amelia County will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Vikings at 7:15 p.m. Lunenburg Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
