In what's become a running theme this season, the Banks County Leopards gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Athens Academy 63-31 on the road. The win was nothing new for Banks County as they're now sitting on six straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Banks County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Hoard, who scored 19 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Hoard is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Reese Murphy, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Banks County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Athens Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Banks County will face off against Walnut Grove at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Athens Academy, they will face off against Greater Atlanta Christian at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
