The Canyon Crest Academy Ravens will venture away from home to square off against the Escondido Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Crest Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Canyon Crest Academy got the win against Valley Center by a conclusive 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Canyon Crest Academy took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Jaz Damineni and Enke Lou were among the main playmakers for Canyon Crest Academy as the former had eight aces and the latter had seven aces. Damineni has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: Canyon Crest Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Escondido challenged El Camino on Thursday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
While Escondido was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-23.
Canyon Crest Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Escondido, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
Everything went Canyon Crest Academy's way against Escondido in their previous meeting back in September, as Canyon Crest Academy made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
